These two are worth a few seconds saving into your library! Metro Last Light Redux and For The King are free on Epic until February 11.
Metro Last Light Redux is the sequel to the post-apocalyptic survival-horror shooter Metro 33 Redux (which was also free on Epic) that continues the story of Artyom before the events of Metro Exodus. It’s worth stocking into your library in case you’re looking to binge on the Metroverse storyline. The game takes players above the subway and encourages exploration on a post-apocalyptic Moscow which will prompt for survival against the elements, mutants and hostile humans. Take note that this was released for the Switch and Stadia last year; so it’s still dated and will transition you to Metro’s latest installment which is Metro Exodus.
For the King is a table-top rogue RPG that is also worth saving into your Epic library. It’s both a singleplayer and a coop experience; meaning it can be played on singleplayer or with a few friends. For the King is a challenging game akin to DND, so expect to rack up a lot of playtime and replay-ability. Players will fulfill quests and finish adventures on a tiled map. Maps are procedurally generated with unique caves. So players will need to traverse through the land and sea, battle creatures through turn-based combat, and hope to find treasures or artifacts to aid on your adventures.
