Taking a screenshot of your Samsung Galaxy S21 screen is easy. Tap both the Volume Down key AND the Side Key at the same time. Do not hold both keys as it will bring up the Power Off Menu (although this was how I took screenshots while using the Google Pixel 2 XL).
But before you go, there’s something else you should do; I recommend changing the image quality first of the screenshot from a compressed JPG quality to a higher hi-res PNG quality.
To change the quality of your screenshots, go to settings first.
Then make your way to Advanced Features (or type Advanced Features on the search box.) Tap on Screenshots and screen recorder.
Inside Screenshots and screen recorder, you’ll find that the current Screenshot format is JPG. Tap on it and select PNG instead. When that’s done, you can expect a virtually lossless image quality on your screenshots. This also means that your screenshots may take up more space, but we leave the housekeeping to you.
You’ll also be able to configure your settings when you’re recording your phone’s screen. Enable the screen recorder by swiping down from the top of your Samsung Galaxy S21 to access the quick panel.
