Infernape 7-Star raid will last only this weekend

The Infernape 7-star raid have been live since last weekend October 4-6. The last string will resume this coming October 11-13 on Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The 7-star Infernape will possess the Mightiest Mark and can only be caught once per save file. Infernape is a fire-type Gen IV Pokémon but the raid boss will sport a rock type Tera.

Beat the Infernape 7-star raid with Iron Hands

I was able to solo and capture Infernape with Iron Hands. EV spread at 252 HP, 252 Sp. Def, and 6 on Attk. I recommend running a fire type Tera, but mine was fighting. The strategy I went for had been Drain Punch to Terastalize. Belly drum AFTER Infernape activates its shield and nullifies the stats. Then Drain Punch all the way.

Iron Hands really is a reliable Pokémon. Funny enough, Iron Hands was my Pokémon for another monke raid.

The raid was straightforward, but can be tricky. My Iron Hands could not survive at first due to Infernape’s Grass Knot and with my wrong a EV spread of Attk and Def. Iron Hands could not Belly Drum. So I had to readjust the EV spread after a few tries and moved them to Special Defense and HP in order to absorb damage after the Belly Drum. Although it is smooth sailing once you survive after a Belly Drum. Simply dish out Drain Punch until the end.
