Free Shiny Legendary Wo-Chien in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is currently hosting a 5-star Tera raid event to Challenge the Shiny Treasures of Ruin. Players will battle a Shiny Wo-Chien, Shiny Chien-Pao, Shiny Ting-Lu, and Shiny Chi-Yu. But defeating them will not catch them. Instead, each Shiny Ruinous Pokémon will be claimable via Mystery Gift when PS/V players will collectively exceed 1 million global victories for each legendary Pokémon.

Now the legendary Shiny Wo-Chien is unlocked after humanity scored 6,078,885 victories.

Here’s how to claim your Shiny Wo-Chien

Other gifts may be available to claim if you haven’t checked in a while.
The Shiny Wo-Chien has been caught! I mean received!

First, Launch the Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game.
Then press X for the Poké Portal menu.
Select Mystery Gift, then select Get via Internet to connect to the internet.
Choose the gift you want.
Finally, wait for the gift to arrive. Save the game afterward.

The Shiny Wo-Chien will be available in the Mystery Gift until September 30, 2025. There is plenty of time but I would grab it now since there is no code required.

Players are now battling the Shiny Chien-Pao with an Ice Tera type. We will know the results soon. But I’m pretty sure we can claim the Shiny Chien-Pao after August 17.
