Free Shiny Legendary Ting-Lu in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is still hosting the 5-star Tera raid event to Challenge the Shiny Treasures of Ruin. The legendary Shiny Ting-Lu is unlocked after 3,556,583 victories. The last of the Ruinous Quartet is next.

Players battle a Shiny Wo-Chien, Shiny Chien-Pao, Shiny Ting-Lu, and Shiny Chi-Yu. But defeating them will not catch them. Instead, each shiny legendary Pokémon will be claimable via Mystery Gift when PS/V players exceed 1 million collective victories.

Here’s how to claim your Shiny Ting-LuL

1. First, Launch the Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game.
2. Then press X to go to the Poké Portal menu.
3. Select Mystery Gift, then select Get via Internet to connect to the internet.
4. Choose the gift you want.
5. Finally, wait for the gift to arrive. Save the game afterward.

Ting-Lu is a Gen IX Pokémon and is one of the four legendary Pokémon’s of Paldea. Ting-Lu is also a Dark and Ground type Pokémon. It resembles a moose-like mammal. And possesses the Vessel of Ruin ability which lowers all the Special Attack of other Pokémon on the field.

The Shiny Ting-Lu is available until September 30, 2025. Time is ticking! No Nintendo Online subscription is required.

The Shiny Wo-Chien, Chien-Pao, and Ting-Lu have unlocked. And we’re only missing the Shiny Chi-Yu. The Chi-Yu event, the final event, will last until September 14. And Chi-Yu is arguably one of the more popular Pokémon among the four. I like would also like a shiny goldfish.
