Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is still hosting the Challenge the Shiny Treasures of Ruin event. Players will battle a Shiny Wo-Chien, Shiny Chien-Pao, Shiny Ting-Lu, and Shiny Chi-Yu. But defeating each boss will not capture the shiny legendary Pokémon. Instead, they will be claimable via Mystery Gift when PS/V players exceed 1 million collective global victories.
Now both the shiny Wo-Chien and Chien-Pao have unlocked. We can claim a shiny legendary Shiny Chien-Pao after humanity scored 5,020,994 wins.
Here’s how to claim your Shiny Chien-Pao
- First, Launch the Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game.
- Then press X for the Poké Portal menu.
- Select Mystery Gift, then select Get via Internet.
- Choose the gift you want.
- Finally, wait for the gift to arrive. Save the game afterward.
The Shiny Chien-Pao will be available in the Mystery Gift until September 30, 2025. No Nintendo Online subscription is needed.
Chien-Pao is a Dark and Ice Type Pokémon resembling a snow leopard with long fangs. Yes, it’s a legendary Pokémon of Paldea. Its Sword of Ruin ability decreases the defense stat of all other Pokémon on the field.
Players are now battling the Shiny Ting-Lu. And we will know the results after August 31.
