Konami confirmed that there is a fraudulent account that claims to offer closed beta keys for its upcoming Silent Hill f game. The Official Silent Hill Facebook Page posted a notice. They stated that they are aware of the fraudulent account.

Silent Hill also took to X about the scam.
Other users have also posted the phishing scam for Silent Hill f closed beta keys through Reddit weeks ago. However a few users have reported that they fell for the scam.
The scam involves taking you to a landing page that closely resembles Steam. And then will prompt users to enter their username and password. Which would likely capture those information and transmit them somewhere else.
These scams target users or players who are overly eager to try on new games. The scam landing page will resemble actual websites, but they will phish out username, emails, and passwords. Phishing is a cyber-attack that tricks users to go to their website in order to capture sensitive information such as your login credentials.
Silent Hill f is Konami’s newest Silent Hill game with a new story with rumors of more remasters in the works. And it has been more than a decade since the last mainline Silent Hill game with Silent Hill: Downpour. Silent Hill f’s release date is TBD.
