Throne and Liberty has finally opened their public playtest for Steam, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The upcoming free-to-play MMO touts large scale PvPvE battles and slated to release on September 17, 2024. We have been waiting for the playtest as soon as it has been announced. Players will need to contribute to their guilds and will also be able to shapeshift.
NCSoft has developed numerous MMOs including Lineage and Guildwars. But AGS as the publisher makes players wary since it’s free-to-play and Lost Ark has bot problems. PvP is Throne and Liberty’s core however it’s not a PvP required game with PvE occurring away from PvP timed events and zones. Yet players seeking an MMO focusing on PvP should try Throne and Liberty. It is also a cross-platform MMO. Despite being free-to-play, three tiers of Early Access packs are now available for purchase.
